Cheers!
How you all goin'? Hope all is well! So, I have good news and semi-not good news. Which first? ..... not -so- good? Ok...well the good part is that we met in our outreach teams for the first time and discussed what we will be doing...or any ideas that are in the works. The bad news part is that the fee is no longer $4,000 but $4500...so that means I need prayer..still! Please pray that support keeps coming in!
Good news!!! : So today we did what is called "Treasure hunting" and it's basically prophetic evangelism. We broke into small groups and prayed about anyone God wanted us to talk to. My group came up with what seemed like random words : White car, green, little girl, brown hair, young like age 3 or 4, poka-dotted shirt, trapped, man in suit, park. We had no idea what it meant but we headed to the park anyways. When we got there it seemed like no one was there. We looked again and there on the park climber was a little girl with brown hair who is 3 years old in a poka-dotted dress. Her mom started asking us questions about what our Youth Street shirts said/meant and we started talking to her. The mom is muslim and her partner is very strict and she feels like she is trapped and wished she was younger so she could do stuff like YWAM. We chatted for a while, played with the little girl, and then we left bibles in the park after they left! BUT yeah!!!! It was sooooooooooooooooo crazy!
Cheers!

Wow! The girl in the poka-dotted dress = Wow!!! How was Hillsong! What was Hillsong? Stoked = a very cool description of your anticipation. A forty day fast. Ask her what it was like and how she felt she was impacted by the fast. Clarity of thinking, and listening for God..., I am going to be going back through all your blogs and read each one, now that I know I can. All my love, Dad.
ReplyDeleteHillsong=Darlene Czech? Shout to The Lord, by Hillsong was one of Grandma Bea's favorite songs; perhaps, her very favorite.
