wonderfulness...

Wonderfulness..is that a word? Might not be but I'm still going to use it! So God is amazing which I already knew but he proved it yet again and how faith and trust always pays off with him! I had a fundraiser today at church; with the help from Nathan and Whitney. We made smoothies and it was extremely successful! WOW. God provided. I raised $882, Thank you Lord! I also still want to thank you for your continued prayers and support. It's 2 days and counting, please pray for me, and Nathan (my boyfriend). It's getting harder as the minutes tick away. I know this will be good for us, to depend on the Lord for comfort. Thank you all again! Much love.

count down!

Well I'm in the count down now....6 days and counting. Pretty crazy if you ask me. I was able to pay my lecture fees...horray! However that's only half of the total amount. I am still trying to raise the rest of the money and praying that the Lord provides. I was able to spend time with my mom and step-dad before I leave as well as with Nathan's family. I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by friends and family who have also done a DTS through YWAM and are able to give me lots of wonderful advice and pointers. I would like to ask for prayer. Prayer for strength in this last week (as well as when I'm there), courage because it's all getting a little scary, and just prayer that I can get all the funds I need. YWAM is letting me have a 'grace' period until the end of September to have the rest of my funds sent in but me being me....I of course just want it all to be done. BUT I know it is God teaching patience and to trust in him. Thank you all for the prayers thus far. I too have you in my prayers.

A big thanks

I just wanted to send out a huge thank you to all that have sent in support for my trip. I have reached the half-way point with finances and I feel so blessed! I know it's not the end but I feel like I'm so close! :) Thank you to all!!!

Hello all,

Well I have given out my support letters and already support is comin' in! I want to first off thank all who have been praying for me and supporting me through this. It's a struggle to think about all I am leaving behind and the fact that I'm going to be stretched to trust the Lord like I have never done before; but that's a good thing ;) So far I have received $2000 in support which is fantastic! I'm almost half way there! Please continue to pray for me especially for strength and courage right now. Thank you and I'll continue to update as things progress.
